The beanbag was designed in 1969 as a cheap alternative to traditional furniture, cheap being the operative word!

Poor fabric, filling and stitching, often leading to being thrown away not long after purchase.

When we designed our Bigboy Beanbag we started at the beginning – top quality fabric and filling, and have produced something that lasts for years and years – hence our 10 year anti-burst guarantee.

Our unique double sided fabric is made from a cotton-canvas and the inside is waterproofed – using recycled plastic bottles.

This means our Bigboy is suited for use indoors or out.

Should your Bigboy get grubby – our specially designed cover is also machine washable.

All of our customers are made aware at purchase that you never need to empty or dispose of the filling – just “top it up” occasionally depending on usage, and we can supply fillings made from recycled plastics at no extra cost.

And, if for any crazy reason you no longer want your Bigboy, we offer a recycling service.

Even our distributor is carbon neutral.

Our Beanbags include a separate inner bag, not only does this make it much easier to clean the outer cover, it allows us to offer a 10-year anti-burst guarantee.

International orders welcome.

We can now ship filled bags to some EU countries (please contact us for shipping costs), otherwise we ship the bags unfilled for you to fill yourself with your own polystyrene ‘beans’.

The price is the same, but may be subject to local import taxes.
